Hyped/happy/excited/totally ecstatic – whatever you want to call it, that’s how we feel right now about our brand new partnerships with Channel 4, Spotify and Chime Communications. All of these wicked companies are to offer young people an exciting range of skills development and work experience opportunities through GoThinkBig.

Following our early success (yes, that is us blowing our own trumpet) in offering young people 2,500 skills development and work experience opportunities, we’re going to increase the range of placements by teaming up with Channel 4, Spotify and Chime Communications. Young people will be able to access these opportunities through this very website and check out what the worlds of broadcasting, digital music and marketing communications have to offer.

Every bit of work and skills development experiences at the three companies will be made available through GoThinkBig and will include mentoring, internships, apprenticeships, ‘shadowing’ senior executives, work placements, graduate entry schemes and full time employment!

We’ll update you with the full details very soon, so watch this space.

Bill Eyres, Head of Corporate Responsibility, Environment and Sustainability at O2, said: “When O2 and Bauer Media launched GoThinkBig in October, we invited other businesses to join us in GoThinkBig’s mission to support young people. We are delighted, therefore, to welcome on board such a strong trio of market leading companies.

“Channel 4, Spotify and Chime Communications share our commuitment to help young people into the world of work. They recognise that GoThinkBig is good for young people and good for helping them identify bright young talent who can strengthen their businesses.”

In short, we’re going to have a lot more opportunities in a wider range of industries available on this site very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
